As we come into the middle of the first quarter of 2013, I’m starting to feel like I’ve set myself up for failure when it comes to blogging.
I really wanted to get three posts a week done here at the KAWC blog, but that’s not happening despite my best plans. Maybe they weren’t actually my best plans, though. Or maybe it’s just my execution that isn’t great.
What is the point of blogging in the first place? I thought it would be to get new clients, and to sell products – I have ebooks and workbooks for sale. But, it’s also about self expression and teaching others. Maybe just a little bit about the fame and recognition.
If those things are true, I may have slowed down the blogging in February because my self expression and teaching is showing up in other ways – like building a website for a client and building another leg of a previous business.
What do you think? If you look at your patterns and the times you aren’t productive in one area, is it because you are doing something that fulfills that need somewhere else?
